Honeymoon Day 1: Branson!



Day 1 of our trip would have technically began in Springfield, since we stayed there for a few days after the wedding before actually leaving for Baltimore. We took the day after the wedding to just relax, we didnt do much of anything, mostly slept and relished in the day before. We REALLY wanted the leftover food from the reception, but unfortunately, in all of the hustle of the wedding it was left at the Tonic, and even after calls and emails to the place, we never got a reply back about picking it up, so we never did get to eat the rest of the food! It still makes me sad- it was so good!

Anywho, the day after we went back to my mom's and opened gifts and all. We went to Branson on Monday and walked around the Landing. We splurged and ate at the fancy Mexican restaurant there and watched the fire show.






















It was fun, a bit strange because we entered to win some prize deal at Bass Pro and the lady asked us if we were on our Honeymoon, haha we didnt know what to say- technically yes since we had just gotten married, but it was just Branson haha and we werent actually on our TRIP yet. It was still fun, and everything was so pretty with the trees.

I'm a newlywed with a love for the little things in life- sipping a cappuccino at a local coffee shop in the sunshine, art that seems to make no sense, the smile my husband gets sometimes when I catch him watching me, the cool breeze in the fall when the leaves are changing, my dog when she has somehow manages to wedge herself under my hand and I find myself petting her unknowingly, the smell of freshly cut grass, the sounds of the ocean, taking photos of instances you can never get back.
