Day 2 we decided to take a day trip down to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I had been there before, but it was many years ago and I didnt remember much about it at all. I had looked up all these things about it and it was suppossedly one of the most romantic places in the midwest and all of these honeymooners and couples flocked there, so I convinced Adam we had to go and we made the hour and half or so drive.
We went through all of these little tiny winding roads with towns that you can only see in Arkansas, ha, and got to experience the actual Ozark Mountains. The hills and trees were absolutely beautiful, and after going through these small towns in the middle of nowhere, we all of a sudden ran into the town. It was pretty, in a different sort of way. Haha. The buildings were pretty and the shops were unique, but it was just a...different sort of town, haha. The town had a sort of errie quality to it and we found out that it has alot of supossed 'haunted' places- they were givng ghost tours all over! The most popular hotel there was the Crecent Hotel, and supossedly it is super haunted, it's been featured on all of those ghost tour shows, but all of these honeymooners go there! It was creepy! Ha.
We ate at this really cute little Italian restaurant that was portrayed as one of the best in the midwest. It was a little house that was converted into a restaurant, and they had a line outside on the porch before they opened at 5. It was good, different, but good.

Me
- Cass
- I'm a newlywed with a love for the little things in life- sipping a cappuccino at a local coffee shop in the sunshine, art that seems to make no sense, the smile my husband gets sometimes when I catch him watching me, the cool breeze in the fall when the leaves are changing, my dog when she has somehow manages to wedge herself under my hand and I find myself petting her unknowingly, the smell of freshly cut grass, the sounds of the ocean, taking photos of instances you can never get back. I feel too much about things but may not always say it. I adore my mother. You'll find I take a lot of pictures. La vita รจ bella.
