cake topper

I meant to post this a week or so ago when we actually decided on this, but I honestly forgot! Anyway, we finally decided on our cake topper. We didnt want the traditional bride and groom top, and Adam liked the idea of the monogram or initials on the top, but I looked and looked and just couldnt find a good enough one that wasnt ridiculously expensive. So one day I was just searching random wedding things on Etsy, and I thought to myself "Why not look up cake toppers? If anybody is going to have unique ideas it will be them!" So I typed it in and started looking through the results...so many were still so typical, or had a strange bird theme...no idea why that is.

Anyways, it was after quite a bit of searching that I found the PERFECT topper. You all may laugh, and you may scoff, but it's perfect for us and is a super cute keepsake for after the wedding. We ordered it through Chachilovesfinny and she has been super great to work with so far. She would have customized it to be wearing our colors or a lookalike to our outfits, but I really liked the one in the model, so I asked her to recreate that one! I'm so excited.

I am so excited to see it in person. It will probably have absolutely nothing to do with our cake and totally clash, but you know, if we have to spend the money on a cake topper I want something that we can keep and look at and laugh at!
