Cake!!
So let me start off by saying that going into this, Adam and I had absolutely NO idea what we wanted in a cake. We literally sat in front of the computer at my mom's house right before the appointment googleing "wedding cake" pictures. We really didnt see much that popped out, and it didnt help that Adam and I seem to have VERY differing tastes when it comes to this wedding....so needless to say I was a bit apprehensive about how this whole ordeal was going to turn out.
In the end though, our cake person Sam did an AMAZING job. She really helped us come up with different ideas and whatnot and just the other day send me this drawing she did of the cake to help us visualize what it will look like in the end. Granted you can't really see the details on it and the colors are a bit off and you cant see some of the little things we had talked about, like the vines/branches are going to stand off of the cake and the berries too, etc. But it gives it a pretty good idea, and I LOVE how it turns out. More importantly, Adam does too, which means that we agreed on this! Ha!
I can't wait to eat, after many, many pictures of course...

Me
- Cass
- I'm a newlywed with a love for the little things in life- sipping a cappuccino at a local coffee shop in the sunshine, art that seems to make no sense, the smile my husband gets sometimes when I catch him watching me, the cool breeze in the fall when the leaves are changing, my dog when she has somehow manages to wedge herself under my hand and I find myself petting her unknowingly, the smell of freshly cut grass, the sounds of the ocean, taking photos of instances you can never get back. I feel too much about things but may not always say it. I adore my mother. You'll find I take a lot of pictures. La vita รจ bella.
