bouquets!

My bridesmaids are going to be some stylish ladies.

My mom finished the girls' bouquets yesterday and they are prefect!! Exactly how we wanted them to look, with each one a bit different (just like the girls!) but all of them blending perfectly. I love them!

All of them! Far left one is Kelsey, then Tina, the next two are Sara and Amelia's, the little one on the end is Skyler's!

Closeup of Tina's and then Sara and Amelia's (they have to pick which they want!)

So pretty! She did an incredible job. And the best part, is that they wont die or lose their beauty! I am so excited to show them off at the wedding. Not to mention how awesome the pictures will be! :D

bouquet!

As promised, here are the AMAZING pictures of my bouquet for the wedding made by my super talented mommy.

It quite honestly turned out even better than I had imagined that it ever would, and it made all of my second guessing on whether or not I should have went with the real flowers go away! This way, it is just how I want it, and it is definitely much more elaborate that I ever would have been able to create with real flowers. AND, the best part- these will never die. They will always look just as amazing as they do now, so I can preserve them and even take it out every once in a while without the fear of them falling apart and breaking.

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the broach on it. She even put antique earrings and other bling inside the actual bouquet to add sparkle- love it! So every one oooh and ahhhh with me and look at the amazingness!

My only requirement was that she put a Stargazer Lily inside. It's my favorite flower, and also one of the main flowers she had inside her bouquet when she got married, which is why I had to have it.

More pictures will follow of Kelsey holding it to see how it looks when held!

more mom amazing-ness!!

You know all of the amazing centerpieces that my amazing mother has made for the wedding? Well there are more I need to put up here, I just need to find them. But aside from that, because I really, really like them, I've asked if she would want to make the bouquets and corsages and boutonnieres and whatnot for the wedding. She was a little stressed by the thought I could tell, but just a couple weeks later, she already had mine done. And it is STUNNING! It love, love, love it. The colors and the details, yay! And she put antique broaches and vintage jewlery inside, which is makes it even prettier. I'm waiting to put up a couple pictures because I she is supossed to be sending me a picture of my sister holding it so I can get a feel for the size, and I want to put that up to see the perspective. But it's gorgeous. And you all will get to see it, hopefully later tonight. I'm even more excited now, because I dont have to pay to preserve it after the wedding, and it will never loose it's coloring or wilt! How amazing is that?!

I'm also carrying her veil down the aisle wrapped around the bouquet. She tried to wrap it around the stems, which is what I wanted, but because it's attached to a comb she couldnt get it to fit just right. My sister wants to use it for her wedding someday, so we had to keep the comb attached (grrr. I had wanted to keep it on the bouquet forever to preserve it and have it be my little piece from my mom's wedding...I guess as long as Kelsey doesnt get to KEEP it I'll be ok...haha!). So now I'm just going to wrap it around and hold it there for the ceremony, which as long as it's there, is fine with me!

Look for pictures soon!!

Me

I'm a newlywed with a love for the little things in life- sipping a cappuccino at a local coffee shop in the sunshine, art that seems to make no sense, the smile my husband gets sometimes when I catch him watching me, the cool breeze in the fall when the leaves are changing, my dog when she has somehow manages to wedge herself under my hand and I find myself petting her unknowingly, the smell of freshly cut grass, the sounds of the ocean, taking photos of instances you can never get back. I feel too much about things but may not always say it. I adore my mother. You'll find I take a lot of pictures. La vita รจ bella.
